²⁶ The woman was a Greek, born in Syrian Phoenicia. She begged Jesus to drive the demon out of her daughter.

³⁵ The Jews said to one another, “Where does this man intend to go that we cannot find him? Will he go where our people live scattered^(A) among the Greeks,^(B) and teach the Greeks?

¹⁰ but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.^(A)

No One Is Righteous

⁹ What shall we conclude then? Do we have any advantage?^(A) Not at all! For we have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under the power of sin.^(B)

³² Do not cause anyone to stumble,^(A) whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God^(B)—
